All-in-one solar 4G PTZ cameras on Alibaba list from about $20 per unit at volume to about $30 at small MOQs. We price the SV-P2 just below our SV-P1 because its panel is smaller. We price level with that market rather than below it.
One unit, one bracket
Most of the time an installer spends on a solar camera goes into the panel: finding a sunny spot, fixing a second bracket and running and hiding the cable. The SV-P2 removes that step. The panel sits on the camera, so the job is one bracket and four screws.
The trade-off is that the camera has to be mounted where it gets direct sun for most of the day. On a north- or south-facing wall in the tropics that is usually fine; under deep eaves or trees it is not, and the SV-P1 is the better choice.
Power in practice
The 3 W panel tops up the same 7,800 mAh pack used in the SV-P1. For a camera that sleeps until motion wakes it and is watched live a few minutes a day, that is enough in most of Kenya, Nigeria and Ghana. For long rainy seasons or long live viewing, choose the 5 W panel of the SV-P1.

Because it is a single box with nothing to assemble, the SV-P2 is easy to sell to first-time buyers. Mixed orders with other models count towards the same price tiers.

Can I add a bigger panel later?
The panel is fixed to the housing on this model. If you expect to need more charging, choose the SV-P1, whose panel is separate.
Is the SV-P2 cheaper than the SV-P1?
