Why a solar 4G camera in Ghana

• Cocoa, cashew and vegetable farms in Ghana are often far from both the grid and fixed broadband, and theft of produce and equipment at harvest is a common worry.
• One Jiji seller lists the same camera at two prices: locked to Telecel, or “universal”. Network-locked cameras can be cheaper but stop working if you change SIM.
• Because MTN and Telecel band details were not confirmed in our research, tell us the network you will use and we will check the band version against the operator before shipping.
