Who the 4G solar trail camera is for

Choose it for

  • Grazing land, water points and fence lines far from the farmhouse
  • Watching for predators and stray animals as well as people
  • Places where a white camera on a pole would be seen and stolen

Choose another model for

  • Live watching and following a person (use a PTZ model)
  • Gates and stores close to the house, where a PTZ with lights deters better

SV-H1 specifications

Figures are from the factory catalogue for the 4G version. Standby time is with no sun and the camera waiting for alerts; live viewing uses the battery much faster.

What comes in the SV-H1 box

The 4G solar trail camera ships as a complete kit: the camera, its solar power (built-in 8,000 mah battery with solar charging), mounting hardware and an English quick-start guide. The carton label shows the model, the 4G band version and the IMEI. Tall poles, security screws and microSD cards can be added to any order. Before installing, read how to install a solar 4G camera and check the panel and battery size for your site.

Prices in US dollars. Ex-works packed, FOB a Chinese port; freight, duties and local taxes are extra. Set in US$ on 26 Oct 2026 to match comparable factory listings. The final quote depends on band version, panel and battery size.

Factory trail cameras with 4G and solar charging are rarely listed with tiered prices, so we quote the SV-H1 per order, in line with comparable listings. We price level with that market rather than below it.

A camera for where the poles are not

Security cameras on poles watch the yard. Losses on larger farms often happen far from it: at a water point, along a boundary fence or on grazing land at night. The SV-H1 is built for those places. It straps to a tree or fence post, blends in with its camouflage housing and wakes only when its PIR sensor sees movement up to 25 m away.

Its AI animal detection tells animals from other motion, so herders can see when stock moves at night or when a predator visits a boma.

Photos first, video when needed

Unlike a PTZ camera, a trail camera is made to send a photo or short clip to the phone on each trigger rather than to stream. That keeps both battery and data use low, which is how it lasts for months on the 8,000 mAh battery topped up by its solar panel.

For resellers

Trail cameras sell to a different buyer from yard cameras: ranches, conservancies, hunters and researchers as well as farms. They can be added to a mixed order with the other models.

SV-H1 questions

Can I watch the SV-H1 live?

It is made to send photos and clips on each trigger. Live view drains a trail camera’s battery quickly, so we recommend a PTZ model where live watching matters.

Will it be stolen?

Any camera can be. The camouflage housing and low mounting on a tree make it far less visible than a white camera on a pole. Use a lockable strap or security box for open land.
